Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program

WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutrition services and healthy foods to eligible pregnant, breastfeeding, non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to their 5th birthday. It doesn’t provide all the food you or your child needs every day, but it helps.

At WIC, you can learn how to feed your baby, shop on a budget, prepare quick nutritious meals, and many other helpful tips. You will have regular appointments at the WIC clinic and some may be completed through phone or video calls. You’ll speak with WIC staff and receive one-on-one counseling, participate in online or group nutrition classes, and be provided educational materials.

Free language assistance, auxiliary aids, or other accommodations are available upon request.

We hope you find the information you need. If not, please email us at wic@utah.gov. To apply or request an appointment, please call a WIC clinic near you. For WIC account balance or other card services please call: 1-855-784-5584. For other questions or issues, you can reach the state WIC office toll free at: 1-877-WIC KIDS (942-5437).
