Discounts with WIC

WIC participants can receive discounts! Show your Utah WIC card at the following locations to receive discounts. These discounts are also available for those receiving SNAP benefits. The SNAP EBT card can also be shown to receive these discounts.

Lifeline Program (discounted phone or internet services)

If you or someone in your household participates in SNAP, Medicaid, or other federal assistance programs, you automatically qualify for the Lifeline program. You may qualify based on income if you are not currently on any of these programs.

The Lifeline program provides:

  • Up to $9.25 monthly discount on phone or internet services. This can be applied to the same service that is discounted through the ACP.
  • Individuals living on Tribal lands an increased discount up to $34.25 each month.

Amazon Prime

  • WIC participants can receive an Amazon Prime membership for half the regular price.

Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum

  • $3 per person up to 4 people

Hogle Zoo

  • $8 per person up to 6 people
  • Tickets cannot be purchased online. Must show eWIC card and proof of active benefits in person to purchase.
    • You can show proof of active benefits by showing your current month’s benefits on the WICShopper app or by showing your Family Food Benefits printout.

The Leonardo

  • Free: up to 10 children and 2 adults

Natural History Museum of Utah

  • $2 per person up to 6 people

Red Butte Garden

  • Free: 4 people, any age

Thanksgiving Point Museums

  • Pricing and discounts are per attraction. Thanksgiving Point has over 4 different attractions. Exclusions may apply to special events.
  • Up to 6 people within your immediate household receive discounted admission at the following prices:
    • Dependent children (3-12 years old) are free.
    • Children 13+ years old and adults in the household are $3 each.
    • Children under 2 years old are always free.

Tracy Aviary

  • Free: 4 people, any age

Utah Museum of Fine Art

  • Free: 4 people, any age
